I told my therapist I can’t get the Grease soundtrack out of my head. He said, “Tell me more.”

Counseling is an opportunity to process thoughts and experiences, develop skills to work through life’s many obstacles, or explore emotions that need to be heard by an individual who is unbiased and supportive. Through the combination of grounding techniques and mindfulness, we can explore our own perspectives and how they impact our day to day.

About me

I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor who has experience counseling in private practice, public school, and therapeutic day school settings. Each experience has taught me skills to work with diverse populations and age ranges, but what remains the most important to me and my clients: creating an environment where everyone can feel comfortable in pushing themselves to take on challenges in order to have their needs met. A large component of creating this environment is developing rapport, so as an introduction, here are a few of my hobbies and interests: I am an adult who still enjoys Pokemon and continues to take opportunities to play the trading card game as well as teach it as a class to children for almost a decade. When I am not enjoying my own hobbies, I am with my family going on small trips, eating beef jerky with my three year old daughter, or watching old seasons of the “Amazing Race” with my wife.
